Your role and responsibilities
  • Development & Coding: Create, code, test, and debug ABAP programs, reports, interfaces (APIs), and enhancements, especially leveraging RAP for cloud-native apps.
  • BTP Services: Utilize BTP services like SAP HANA, Cloud Foundry, and Integration Suite for building extensions and connecting systems.
  • Integration: Design and implement integrations using OData, REST, SOAP, and IDocs to connect SAP and non-SAP systems.
  • UI Development: Develop modern user experiences, often using SAP Fiori/UI5.
  • Performance: Optimize existing ABAP code and applications for better speed and efficiency (performance tuning).
  • Testing & QA: Perform unit testing, support integration testing, and conduct code reviews.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain technical specifications, design documents, and operational guides.
  • Support: Troubleshoot issues, resolve bugs, and provide technical support for BTP/ABAP applications.
