Since 1970, Samaritan’s Purse has helped meet the needs of people who are victims of war, poverty, natural disasters, disease, and famine with the purpose of sharing God’s love through His Son, Jesus Christ.As the Recovery Specialist, you will contribute to the long-term community recovery following disasters through establishing and strengthening connections between community members, social supports, government, and churches within Jasper, Alberta. You will collaboratively work with individuals and the impacted community to provide innovative solutions for sustainable, long-term recovery. In this dynamic role, you will also extend your support to churches and community groups, fostering a cohesive and integrated strategy to enhance the role of the local church in community recovery. As an integral member of the Canadian Ministry Projects Team, this role will help SPC carry out its mission and objectives through participation in daily prayer ministry.The successful candidate will fulfill a remote full-time six-month contract position, working from a home office situated in close proximity to Jasper, Alberta.Unleash your passion for positive change and join us as a dedicated Disaster Recovery Specialist!
