  • Able to translate philanthropic, and in particular grantmaker, requirements into sector-specific solutions that are replicable and may differ from the general Salesforce practices.
  • Mentor architects, developers and implementation consultants, building technical confidence across the team and creating clear pathways for skill growth.
  • Proactively stay current on Salesforce platform releases, especially non-profit solutions, including but not limited to Sales Cloud, Nonprofit Cloud, Grantmaking, Nonprofit Success Pack, Experience Cloud, and translate these updates into actionable improvements for our clients and team.

Quality and Delivery Excellence

  • Lead technical peer reviews, weekly office hours, and knowledge-sharing sessions to cultivate a culture of continuous learning and accountability.
  • Ensure all solutions are client-ready, resilient, and flexible enough to support the future evolution of grantmaker needs.

Reusable Sector Solutions (Managed Packages)

  • Drive the development of reusable managed packages tailored to grantmaker business processes (applications, reviews, approvals, contracting, payments, grantee reporting).
  • Lead working groups to identify priority features for packaging, balancing sector standardization with client-specific customization.
  • Build and maintain an internal knowledge base of approved tools, features, and integrations to accelerate project delivery.

Strategic Contribution

  • Collaborate with the Salesforce Delivery Lead on project governance, process improvements, and the long-term technical roadmap for Grantbook’s Salesforce practice.
  • Contribute to Grantbook’s thought leadership by co-authoring quarterly blog posts, speaking at internal forums, and sharing insights on Salesforce innovations for grantmakers.
