Trouw Nutrition is seeking a Sales Representative (Dairy) – New Brunswick.

About The Role

Trouw Nutrition is hiring a Sales Representative to promote and sell Nutreco’s value proposition and services to existing and potential customers, establishing and maintaining strong relationships at all levels. The Sales Representative contributes to, implements, and realizes the sales/account plan for the assigned account/portfolio, acquires and retains new and potential accounts, and strengthens customer relations to achieve Nutreco’s commercial objectives. The Sales Representative is an individual contributor reporting to the Sales Manager in an OpCo.

Responsibilities
  • Sales Planning and Execution: Execute the sales plan for the assigned area, achieving objectives and sales targets.
  • Customer Acquisition: Proactively identify and acquire new customers using market knowledge and intelligence.
  • Customer Management: Build trust with customers by identifying needs, providing solutions, and increasing satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Value Selling: Uncover customer needs, demonstrate company capabilities, and show how products/services meet those needs.
  • Issue Resolution: Address and resolve customer complaints or queries efficiently in collaboration with Sales and Customer Services.
  • Administrative Tools & Management Information: Maintain sales processes and systems, record sales activities, and provide insights to management for informed decision-making.
  • Internal Networking & Projects: Develop product and technical knowledge through training, prepare quotes, and participate in sales/customer service-related projects.
Skills And Expertise
Qualifications
  • Experience in sales or technical sales is preferred.
  • Positive work attitude, strong work ethic, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to work both in a team and independently with minimal supervision.
Expectations for the Role
  • Travel to various locations within New Brunswick.
  • Must possess a valid Class 5 driver’s license.
  • Dairy is the focus of this role, and poultry experience could be an asset.
