As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), you’ll be the front line of our sales team. Your primary responsibility is to identify, engage, and qualify potential clients for our services. You’ll generate leads, book qualified meetings, and assist with onboarding smaller clients — helping fuel the sales pipeline and drive revenue growth.NotaryPro is actively building and scaling our B2B notary public offering, and we’re looking for a motivated, resourceful candidate to help us grow this important part of our business. You’ll work closely with marketing, sales leadership, and product teams to reach small and medium-sized businesses, legal firms, corporate partners, and enterprise clients across Canada. This is a critical role that blends outreach, relationship-building, and strategic thinking to support our B2B growth goals.This role bridges marketing and sales, playing a pivotal role in our customer acquisition efforts and in shaping how businesses interact with modern, digital notarization services.Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Outreach
- Conduct outbound prospecting through calls, emails, and social media (LinkedIn, etc.)Use Apollo to source, segment, and manage high-potential lead lists
- Research and identify new business opportunities across Canada
- Leverage CRM and sales tools to streamline outreach and track engagement
Lead Qualification
- Use frameworks such as BANT (Budget, Authority, Need, Timeline) to assess prospect quality
- Identify client pain points and determine product fit
- Pre-qualify leads through automated and manual methods
Collaboration & Handoff
- Collaborate with marketing on outbound campaigns and lead nurturing
- Book and schedule meetings for Account Executives and Sales Leaders
- Close smaller deals independently while passing larger leads to the sales team
CRM Management
- Maintain accurate records of all interactions in Pipedrive, our sales CRM
- Track status updates, follow-ups, and client notes to ensure smooth handoffs
- Ensure CRM data is consistently updated, clean, and accurate for reporting and pipeline management
Ideal Candidate Profile
- 1–3 years of experience preferred in a sales, business development, or client-facing role
- Familiarity with Pipedrive, Apollo, or similar CRM and lead gen tools
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, remote-first environment
- Prior experience in legal tech, SaaS, or B2B sales is a plus
