About The Role

*This is a permanent full-time role (Tuesday-Sat) based at our Shannon Oaks Vancouver community. Some flexibility for occasional evenings or weekends may be needed to support tours or events.

As the Sales Associate, you’ll help create a welcoming and engaging first impression for prospective residents and their families. You’ll support sales activities by providing personalized tours, assisting with move-ins, coordinating events, and promoting our community to local partners and referral sources. With a focus on building trust and rapport, you’ll walk alongside prospective residents as they navigate the process of choosing a retirement community and exploring all that Shannon Oaks has to offer.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead personalized tours for prospective residents using a consultative, relationship-centred sales approach
  • Follow up on inquiries, track sales activities using CRM tools, and walk alongside prospective residents as they navigate the process of choosing and moving to their new home
  • Assist with internal and external marketing events, including coordinating promotional activities and outreach to referral partners
  • Assist with assessing prospective residents for financial and lifestyle fit
  • Participate in the coordination of move-ins and suite preparation, and help orient new residents to the community
  • Collab with the marketing team to generate ideas that enhance visibility and engagement
  • Maintain communication with all departments regarding upcoming resident transitions
  • Attend community activities and support relationship-building with residents and families
  • Support the development and distribution of print, radio, and online marketing materials
Requirements
  • Post-secondary education in marketing, sales, or a related field
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in senior living, healthcare, hospitality, real estate sales or other related field
  • First Aid OFA Level 1 required, or willingness to obtain
  • Experience working with older adults and an understanding of their unique needs
  • Proficiency with email, CRM systems, Microsoft Office and Canva
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, resident-centered environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills—written, verbal, and presentation
  • Strong organizational and follow-up skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to work a flexible part-time schedule, including some weekends and occasional overtime

Compensation & Benefits

We offer a competitive compensation package, with an hourly wage ranging from $30-$33, commensurate with experience.
