Job Summary:

The Sales Associate supports the Store Leadership Team in achieving company goals and initiatives. Responsibilities include providing excellent customer service, product knowledge, effective communication, merchandise presentation, replenishment, and store cleanliness.

Responsibilities:
  • Respond promptly to customer activity, prioritizing assistance
  • Greet and acknowledge customers, providing appropriate service
  • Communicate merchandise value, current promotions, and offer solutions for out-of-stock items
  • Address customer concerns effectively
  • Use sales skills to positively impact conversion rates
  • Provide fast, friendly, accurate service at the cash register and educate customers on the PLACE Card
  • Maintain stock levels and ensure all sizes and styles are represented
  • Follow standards for merchandise presentation, signage, and display
  • Keep the stockroom neat, organized, and safe
  • Perform daily housekeeping duties
  • Follow Loss Prevention procedures to safeguard company assets
  • Report maintenance and facility needs promptly
  • Contribute to store goals through focused efforts
  • Be flexible in processing stock as needed
Education and Experience:
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Previous retail experience preferred
  • Must be at least 18 years old
