Applies consultative sales and relationship management practices to generate leads and close sales of treasury management and payment solutions for new and existing clients while ensuring regulatory compliance. Monitors implementation activities to ensure alignment with timelines. Provides tailored treasury management solutions and optimizes sales processes through continuous process improvements to enhance client experiences and business outcomes. Manages sales processes, client engagement and outcomes.

  • Responds to client sales inquiries related to product offerings, pricing, and implementation, ensuring clear communication and timely responses to facilitate the sales process.
  • Initiates sales calls, presenting products, sharing industry updates, and maintaining proactive client communication.
  • Handles the Client Management Process (CMP) by identifying client needs, building relationships, and driving acquisition strategies to grow the client portfolio.
  • Identifies issues in overdrawn accounts, escalating per established guidelines to ensure compliance and minimize risks.
  • Assists in resolving document discrepancies and reviewing maturity reports, ensuring that all details are accurate and issues are addressed.
  • Supports tracking and managing client requests, ensuring implementation activities are aligned with timelines and outcomes.
  • Applies treasury management product knowledge to assist clients with tailored solutions, ensuring the optimization of cash flow, liquidity management, and overall treasury operations.
  • Builds and maintains strong long‑term relationships with the bank’s high‑value and strategic clients, providing strategic advice on financial solutions and ensuring exceptional service and partnership.
  • Analyzes client and industry data to inform customized client solution strategies that includes optimizing management of working capital.
  • Works closely with internal teams and stakeholders to define products, solutions and strategies that best fit clients’ needs.
  • Builds advocacy and adoption of the suite of industry leading NA TPS digital products & solutions.
  • Supports implementation activities, including documentation, pricing, and project timelines ensuring timely delivery and continuous process improvements.
  • Ensures adherence to regulatory requirements, internal controls, and compliance, mitigating risk and maintaining service standards.

Qualifications
  • 3 – 5 years of relevant experience in treasury management, financial operations or risk management in a corporate or banking environment is preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; Business Administration, Finance and Accounting preferred. Any other related discipline or commensurate work experience considered.

Salary: $45,500.00 - $84,500.00

Pay Type: Salaried

The above represents BMO Financial Group’s pay range and type. Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part‑time roles will be pro‑rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Group’s expected target for the first year in this position.

BMO Financial Group’s total compensation package will vary based on the pay type of the position and may include performance‑based incentives, discretionary bonuses, as well as other perks and rewards.
