Overview
Air Liquide Canada is seeking a Sales Analyst to join the Western Region Sales team. The Sales Analyst provides administrative, analytical, and data management support to ensure the sales team operates smoothly and efficiently. This role acts as a key liaison connecting Sales, Finance, and Marketing, with primary responsibilities including maintaining data accuracy, ensuring pricing compliance, generating performance reports, and supporting strategic growth initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepares analyzes and sales reports: monitor sales progress, record information, use software to produce detailed analyses, interpret reports, and recommend actions as business progresses; support annual budget preparation.
- Manage agreements, prepare bids and proposals: update agreement lists, monitor deadlines, generate reports for the sales team highlighting risky or renewal-needed agreements, write quotes and proposals for account managers and clients, and monitor commitments to clients.
- Evaluate proposal deadlines and coordinate submission and relaunch timing.
- Review and participate in price changes: support the price increase program, ensure adherence to the process using relevant tools, and communicate price increases to customers and account managers.
- Compliance and process improvement: train and coach account managers on tools (Sales Force, airliquide.ca, etc.), ensure proper procedures are followed, collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes, analyze activity, identify root causes, and propose corrective measures; suggest new methods and tools to improve sales follow-ups.
- Financial & Pricing Management: manage and process pricing requests in line with company guidelines and margin targets; coordinate annual entry and tracking of purchase orders (POs) into the financial system for accurate revenue recognition and forecasting.
- Reporting & Analytics: prepare and distribute accurate reports for the District Manager, provide insights into sales performance, pipeline health, and strategic trends; perform ad-hoc and routine analyses to identify efficiency improvements, revenue opportunities, and bottlenecks.
- Sales Data & Process Integrity: maintain CRM data integrity (Salesforce), troubleshoot discrepancies, oversee new account creation with proper validation and timely assignment to Account Executives, and run data quality initiatives including auditing and cleansing outdated or duplicate records.
- Strategic & Retention Support: collaborate with Marketing and Sales Leadership to identify target lists for campaigns based on analytics, analyze customer churn data, identify root causes, and provide feedback to improve retention strategies.
- Quality / Safety: actively promote Air Liquide's safety and quality objectives.
Qualifications
- Diploma: College diploma or degree in Business, Administration, Marketing or related field.
- Experience: 2 years of relevant experience.
- Knowledge: Oracle OBIEE, SAP (or other ERP), Power BI, Salesforce (or other CRM). Proficiency in Google Sheets and Slides or MS Office (Excel and PPT).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
