Job summary

A reputable software company in Toronto is seeking a Senior Software Developer for a 3-month contract. The role requires the candidate to translate technical specifications into working applications and troubleshoot technical problems. Ideal candidates will have over 10 years of experience with Siebel, especially with integration and configuration. Qualifications

Enterprise Financial Services Division - Ministry of Public and Business Service Delivery and Procurement

Responsibilities

Required to translate technical systems specifications into working, tested applications.

This includes:

  • developing detailed programming specifications
  • writing and/or generating code o compiling data-driven programs, maintaining, and conducting unit tests.

Resolves and troubleshoots technical problems which arise during the use and operation of software packages, including technical assistance in implementation, conversion and migrations.

General Skills
  • Experience in programming and analysis; specialized software package support at the specified experience level
  • Ability to collaborate with IT Professionals throughout the Software Development Life Cycle
  • Experience in structured methodologies for the development, design, implementation and maintenance of applications
  • Experience in design, code, test, debug and document applications
  • Experience in the use of object and/or third generation language development tools

Must Have:

  • 3+ years of experience with Siebel IP18+ with a focus on configuring / developing.
  • Experience with Assignment Manager, Business Rules, Workflow, Applets, Views, Screens, Code/Scripts and related Siebel Business Layer objects.
Nice to have:
  • Experience with Siebel modules such as Public Sector CRM, Contracts, Lead, Management, Partner, Public Sector Partner Portal, Campaign Management, Marketing, Resource Manager, and Public Sector eService would be an asset
  • Experience with Grants Management would be an asset.
