Job Type: Full Time, Permanent

Compensation: $73,992-$80,000/year + Company Benefits + Company Vehicle

About the Company

Our client is a supplier of material handling equipment. They have been in the industry for over 60 years and pride themselves on being the largest supplier of material handling solutions in Canada.

They are expanding at a rapid pace and are seeking to add a Road Service Technician to their team.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain and repair various types of electrical powered material handling equipment
  • Travel to clients facilities to assist with repairs to in house machines
  • Look up part numbers required for repairs and place orders with parts department
  • Source parts and contact parts suppliers
  • Maintain service manuals and update service bulletins of any important information that needs to be conveyed to other employees
  • Keep work area clean and in good working condition (i.e. tools, parts, PPE, health & safety policies, service manuals)
  • Other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • Must possess at least 3 years of experience working in either the automotive or heavy equipment industry
  • Prior experience working on servicing forklifts or other material handling equipment is considered to be a strong asset
  • Must possess a valid drivers’ license with a clean abstract
  • Must possess own set of basic hand and power tools
  • Experience with industrial equipment that involves lifting/rigging, maintaining, dismantling, and installing machinery and industrial mechanical service equipment
