Bayshore HealthCare is seeking Registered Nurses for a short-term camp in Whitehorse, providing essential healthcare services to cadets and staff. Responsibilities include patient assessments, first aid, and supervising student nurses. The role requires adherence to healthcare policies and a commitment to quality care.
Short term employment. Full & Part-time hours.
Rations and Quarters are available if required. Language - English.

RNs are responsible for first aid to cadet civilian instructors and onsite civilians. Services are provided on a walk-in basis, including patient history, physical assessment, screening, diagnostic and therapeutic interventions, counseling, and facilitating access to health services and referrals. The HCP must be available for 8 or 12-hour shifts, including weekdays and weekends.
The head/charge nurse additionally is responsible for:
Administrative duties include handling communications, follow-ups, documentation, stock management, medication audits, and reporting. The charge/head nurse oversees clinic operations, reports, and liaises with medical authorities.
All staff must adhere to Bayshore Policies and participate in quality and safety activities, maintaining confidentiality at all times.
Must pass Police Records Check (PRC)/Vulnerable Sector Screening (VSS).
