Job Description

We’re looking for a detail-oriented and highly organized Returns & Claims Clerk to support and manage all aspects of resolving shipment discrepancies, processing customer credits, and acting as a key liaison between our company, warehouses, and carriers. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, and highly organized, with strong communication skills, both by phone and email.

Core responsibilities include:

  • Investigate, document and resolve order discrepancies (e.g., missing, delayed, or damaged shipments and quantity discrepancies).
  • Process and follow up on transportation-related claims and credits
  • Act as the main liaison between warehouses, carriers, and internal departments to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
  • Communicate effectively with partners, clients, and internal teams by phone and email in English and French (an asset).
  • Maintain accurate claims records and prepare related reports as needed.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to optimize operations.
  • This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a data-heavy environment, has strong attention to detail, and enjoys being part of a collaborative, fast-moving team.
Qualifications
  • Grade 12 diploma or equivalent; College and/or University degree an asset
  • 1–3 years of experience in accounting, supply chain, logistics or data entry
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; ERP experience preferred (Infor M3 is an asset)
  • Fluent in English (oral and written). An asset if you can speak or write in French.
  • Comfortable managing large datasets with a high degree of accuracy
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
  • Organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively

Salary Range - $30,000 - $40,000
