Job Description:

As a store manager, you will manage shifts, supervise daily store operations, and lead the sales team to ensure a clean, safe, and profitable environment. You will ensure outstanding customer service is delivered, manage and maintain inventory, and drive sales volumes while adhering to compliance with regulatory standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, lead and assess the day-to-day operations of the store
  • Lead and support the staff, ensuring the duties are properly assigned and understood
  • Monitor market trends and competitors, and develop sales and marketing strategies based on this knowledge
  • Manage inventory and place orders to ensure there are no product shortages
  • Ensure company merchandising standards are maintained
  • Monitor budgets, sales volumes while minimizing inventory loss
  • Build customer centric operational strategies to ensure exceptional customer experience and resolve issues ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Hire and train new staff, support existing staff for optimal efficiency, conduct performance reviews, to ensuring the staff is competent and satisfied
  • Implement strategies to reduce waste and promote recycling programs
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Previous experience in retail sales
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Good communication skills (English required; additional languages are an asset)
  • Ability to manage schedules, inventory, and performance metrics
  • Computer skills for reporting and inventory/order systems
  • Flexibility to work in shifts (including evenings, weekends, and holidays)
