Work location: On site. Employment: Permanent, Full time. Hours: 30‑40 hrs/week. Start: As soon as possible.

Salary: $30.30 to $34.20 per hour (to be negotiated).

Responsibilities

• Evaluate daily operations
• Monitor revenues to determine labour cost
• Monitor staff performance
• Plan and organise daily operations
• Recruit staff
• Set staff work schedules
• Supervise staff (11‑15 people, 16‑20 people)
• Train staff
• Organise and maintain inventory
• Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies
• Negotiate with clients for catering or use of facilities
• Participate in marketing plans and implementation
• Address customers' complaints or concerns

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• 5 years or more experience in food service management
• Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses:
  • Food service manager certification
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
  • Safe Food Handling certificate
• Computer and technology knowledge:
  • Electronic cash register
  • MS Office
  • MS Windows
  • Point of sale system
• Availability to work early morning, morning, evening, night, and weekend shifts
• Transportation: Valid driver's licence and own vehicle
