The A220 commercial aircraft Programme is looking for a Supply Chain Business Improvement Manager to join our Procurement Industrial Aerostructure team based in Mirabel (Québec, Canada), where you will work jointly with supply chain and quality teams in Canada, Europe and China.

You will be part of the Supply Chain & Quality Aerostructure team responsible for supplier performances management.

The team organization is established to promote cross‑collaboration autonomously, supporting each other and learning collectively.

Role

Your role as Business Improvement Manager will be to:

  • Act as a focal point for Airframe for any topic which needs to be managed locally (e.g. issues with local ordering process, design changes, etc).
  • Be the Airframe Method and Tools focal point and link with PIAX central team.
  • Monitor for Procurement Industrial Airframe the deployment of any A220 specific initiatives e.g. ZeroM, R1, Airsupply, Event process, Non Quality Prevention Plan, etc.
  • Be the Procurement Industrial Airframe focal for transformation projects (A2X, REACH, BSE management…) .

Challenges
  • Prepare / consolidate Procurement Industrial Airframe reporting for all Programmes / FAL reviews (Program Adherence Review, Ramp Up, Transfer Of Work, PIA monthly etc.).
  • Formal and informal alignment with stakeholders on various ad‑hoc topics and issues.
  • Support the organisation of Communication / Networking events e.g. Procurement Industrial Aerostructures Day.
  • Define, implement and drive a project team/organisation all along the project phases, including people coming from other functions (matrix organisations).
  • Ensure effective integration of lessons learnt.
  • Ensure active risk and opportunity (internal or external) management.
  • Ensure effective management of in‑situ subcontractors.
  • Structure and drive the Airframe Improvement roadmap.
  • Centralize the budget needs in Airframe perimeter.
Qualifications
  • 7‑8 years of experience minimum in purchasing and/or supply chain.
  • Experience in project management is an asset.
  • Efficient, solution‑oriented way of working.
  • Having a mindset of anticipation is of critical importance.
  • Ability to quickly change focus between different topics, and multi‑task when needed.
  • Ability to prioritise between challenging and conflicting deadlines.
  • Autonomous way of working and taking decisions.
  • Persuasion and influencing skills will be key to achieving your objectives.
  • Ability to interact appropriately with all hierarchy levels, both internally and externally (management, end users, suppliers).
  • Fluent in English and French.
Travel Requirements

This role may involve some travel for business worldwide. Occasional travel within Canada & overseas.
