Carmichael Enterprises Residential Programs Ltd. is a CARF accredited organization dedicated to enhancing the lives of persons served. Our skilled teams of residential support workers provide support to adults with developmental delays, mental health concerns, addictions, and often severe behavioral challenges including aggression.

Responsibilities

The Residential Support Worker oversees the overall care of persons served in the home and participates as part of the team responsible for the efficient functioning of residence operations on both an individual and group basis. The Residential Support Worker enhances and rehabilitates the quality of life for persons served by ensuring that their placement, social, educational, health, emotional / behavioral, and cultural needs are met.

Qualifications
  • Education, training, and experience working with persons with developmental delays and behavioral challenges.
  • Current clear RCMP Criminal Record Check.
  • BC Class 5 Driver's License.
  • Valid First Aid certificate (First Aid – Community Care Facilities preferred).
  • Current immunization records demonstrating compliance with the province’s immunization programs including public health orders related to COVID-19.
  • Clear TB test.
Compensation and Benefits

Compensation: $25.08 / hr to start. Benefits for full-time employees are employer paid and include RRSP matching.
