A community support organization in Vancouver seeks a Residential Care Worker to assist residents with their physical, emotional, and social needs. This part-time temporary role requires a relevant degree and experience with individuals with developmental disabilities. Start Date: September 30, 2025 (Ending December 30, 2025)
Term/Status: Temporary Part Time
Schedule/Hours: Monday to Friday 06:00 AM - 12:00 PM (30.0 hours per week)
Hourly Wage: $28.25 as per collective agreement
Residential Care Worker (RCW) assists residents to live successfully in residential settings within the community. The position ensures the residents’ physical, emotional, social, recreational, economic, educational, and/or medical needs are met. The RCW assists residents by enhancing their quality of life through activities of daily living. The RCW works both independently and as part of a team, and demonstrates the ability to take initiative and effectively problem solve using sound judgment.
*Note: This position requires Union membership.
