Resident Attendant - Temporary Part Time

Are you passionate about working with seniors? Do you have excellent customer service and communication skills? Are you interested in on the job training and educational reimbursement opportunities? Join our team as a Resident Attendant. You will assist and attend to the care needs of residents, including personal care, general housekeeping, and meal service. You will observe and report changes in residents' physical, social, and emotional conditions while assisting with the maintenance of records and documentation. You will work cooperatively with other departments to support lodge operations and improve residents’ well-being.

Responsibilities
  • Assist residents with personal care, daily living activities, and meal service
  • Observe and report changes in residents’ physical, social, and emotional conditions
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation; support lodge operations in collaboration with other departments
Qualifications
  • Experience with seniors, hospitality, or recreation is an asset
  • Good communication skills
  • An active interest in ongoing education
  • Computer literacy is preferred
  • Current CPR & First Aid certification
  • Preference given to applicants with UCP training – training opportunities are provided if needed
