Position: This is a casual position. This role will support a chronic pain research project at Holland Bloorview, in which brain signals along with electro-goniometric data will be recorded during passive stretching of the lower limb.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer the physiotherapy protocol in accordance with the research study procedure
  • Assist the research team to ensure accurate implementation of the full experimental protocol
  • Document physiotherapy sessions and participant response
  • Support the research team in maintaining a safe, ethical, inclusive, and child-friendly study environment
Minimum Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Minimum of Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy required; Master’s degree in Physiotherapy preferred
  • Current registration with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario
  • Membership in the Canadian Physiotherapy Association and/or the Ontario Physiotherapy Association is an asset.
  • Experience with quantitative and qualitative data collection and management
  • Able to work comfortably with different technologies
  • Experience with children and/or non-verbal individuals with disabilities
  • Ability to work collaboratively as a member of a multidisciplinary team
  • Excellent organization, time management, and priority setting skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
