A leading renewable energy consultancy in Canada is seeking an experienced Permitting Project Manager to lead renewable energy project permitting in Ontario and North America. This role involves preparing permit applications, conducting environmental studies, and engaging with regulatory agencies. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and has at least 5 years of experience in permitting. Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, namely environmental science/engineering, environmental law/policy, biology, or land planning.
  • At least 5 years of environmental and/or permitting experience in Canada.
  • Experience engaging with federal and provincial regulatory agencies.

Responsibilities

  • Lead preparation and submission of permit applications and environmental studies.
  • Support energy project site selection and characterization studies.
  • Assist with business development activities including proposals and client meetings.
