Role Overview:

As Berachain approaches its public testnet in Q1 2024, the community lead will work closely with BD and marketing teams to engage and grow our community. This role involves managing community initiatives, organizing events, and representing Berachain's brand and voice.

Requirements:

• Proven experience leading and scaling community initiatives at leading L1s or top DeFi protocols with measurable KPIs
• Crypto-native with a strong understanding of on-chain environment, narratives, and community culture
• Expertise in managing Discord, Twitter, and Telegram communities, including bots and server management
• Experience organizing ambassador or community engagement programs
• Skilled in running lead generation and nurturing campaigns with measurable ROI
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to inform technical and business decisions

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with bizdev and marketing to grow community presence on social platforms
• Maintain active engagement on Twitter, Discord, Telegram, sharing updates and alpha leaks
• Create incentivized contests and programs to activate and encourage community content
• Guide the brand voice and community culture, reflecting core values and a fun, innovative vibe
• Scale community management by hiring and engaging moderators globally
• Monitor and report on community growth KPIs using data-driven approaches
• Regularly communicate community feedback to BD and engineering teams
• Stay informed on industry trends and relay relevant insights to internal teams
