Summary: The main focus of this position is to provide support for the Engineering department.

Essential Functions:

  • Work closely with Reliability Engineering Team/Manager to develop and implement processes and procedures necessary to establish a Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) culture in the site and to improve overall equipment performance and reliability. Constant support on the new tools and methods to make the maintenance group a more reliability focused, proactive work group.
  • Develop, Generate and Report on Reliability & Equipment Maintenance KPIs (PowerBI/or related applications) that represent the performance and compliance of critical manufacturing assets.
  • Support on work execution management elements, including but not limited to 1) MRO Spares 2) PM optimization 3) Bill of Materials and 4) CMMS Readiness.
  • Implement, assist, support, and help build maintenance optimization review of asset's criticality, functional importance and duty cycle and establishes best-practice maintenance activities required to detect early signs of functional failures, example – Predictive Maintenance – Vibration analysis, IR Thermography, etc,
  • Support and work on improvement projects (PPI), Reliability Engineering projects and processes.
  • Develop the use of asset criticality matrix and spare parts criticality analysis ranking tools.
  • Ensure on-line database of all associated project documentation is saved as per proper documentation practices for easy retrieval.
  • Provide clerical, physical, and administrative support for site audits, Equipment Failure tracking- Deviation Records, change controls and fill associated forms and routes for approvals, project specifications, records management, and spare parts inventory management.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

  • High school diploma/General Educational Development (GED) Certificate is required.
  • Working towards College diploma or University degree in an Engineering or trades program of study. Enrolled in 3rd/4th year of Program.
  • Mechanical or related program is preferred.
  • 8–12-month commitment period is an essential

Experience:

  • Requires no previous Reliability Engineering experience.
  • Any working experience in Engineering, Maintenance or Facilities department in a Manufacturing company would be preferred.
