A Canadian retail pharmacy is seeking a Regulated Pharmacy Technician in Penticton, BC. You will assist pharmacists with daily operations including customer service, prescription processing, and inventory management. Candidates must be registered with the College of Pharmacists and have completed necessary national and provincial programs. This position offers benefits and advancement opportunities. Our focus is optimal patient care using semi-private counselling booths, advanced robotic dispensing technology, and monthly clinical programs delivered by a cooperative team of pharmacists, regulated pharmacy technicians, and pharmacy assistants. You will be responsible for assisting the Pharmacists and Pharmacy Manager with daily operations of the pharmacy department. Duties include customer service, answering telephone inquiries, general housekeeping, operating the pharmacy computer, processing and preparing prescriptions, ordering and receiving drug orders, and managing pharmacy inventory.
Regulated Pharmacy Technicians must have completed all required national and provincial programs and passed the exams. They must also be registered with the respective College of Pharmacy in the province of employment.
