You will be responsible for assisting the Pharmacists and Pharmacy Manager with daily operations of the Pharmacy Department. Nursing Home duties include but are not limited to preparing and verifying medication orders to be distributed to homes, ensuring efficient production of blister and strip packaging, organization and cleanliness within the pharmacy. There may be times the Regulated Technician will need to service the front‑store dispensary. These duties will include customer service, telephone inquiries and general housekeeping duties. Additionally, you will operate the pharmacy computer and assist in the processing of prescriptions and preparation of prescriptions. Other responsibilities will include involvement of ordering and receiving drug orders and management of the pharmacy department inventory. Regulated pharmacy technicians must have completed all required national and provincial Regulated Pharmacy Technician programs and passed the exams. Regulated Pharmacy Technicians must also be registered with the respective College of Pharmacy in the province of employment. The Nursing Home operations are located inside the London Drugs Pharmacy in North Lethbridge. Applicants must be available to work a flexible schedule; we offer a fantastic work/life balance with minimal late evening and weekend availability requirements.
