Job summary

A mental health technology company is seeking counselors to provide trauma-informed therapy. You will deliver counseling across various populations while integrating app features to enhance client experience. This role requires a master's degree in psychology or social work and registration with the Alberta College of Social Workers. Enjoy a collaborative environment with ongoing professional development. Compensation is on a per-session basis, set at $132.

Qualifications

• Experience providing individual therapy to children, teens and/or adults.

• Professional liability insurance, including cyber liability.

Your General Responsibilities

• Provide evidenced-based, culturally responsive and trauma-informed counselling to populations you are specialized and interested in working with (e.g. children, teens, adults, couples, families, group)
• Integrate DiveThru app features (e.g. booking portal, clinically validated measures, entering tasks to work on outside of session). Training will be provided
• Do your best to attend team meetings, case consultations and professional development sessions as part of a collaborative work environment and to strive for quality care
• Commitment to DiveThru’s clinical values: providing person-centred care, demonstrating cultural sensitivity, adopting a feedback-informed approach, and showing compassion and empathy in your interactions

Your Skills

Our ideal candidate brings the following to the table:

• Clinical training in evidence based approaches such as CBT, DBT, SBFT, ACT, EMDR, EFT, ERP, Gottman method, etc.
• Excellent oral and communication skills
• Strong understanding and adherence to professional ethics
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuing education

Required

• Experience providing individual therapy to children, teens and/or adults. Experience providing couples, family and/or group therapy is an asset
• Registration and in good standing with the Alberta College of Social Workers
• Professional liability insurance, including cyber liability
• Completed a Masters or Doctoral degree in Counselling Psychology, Clinical Psychology or School and Clinical Child Psychology, or Social Work with a clinical focus
• Strong understanding and adherence to professional ethics
• See a minimum of 15 clients a week in-person AND virtually

Salary

The rate of this contract will be $132 per session.
