Overview

Do you have a passion for nursing? We have the position for you! We are seeking a motivated Registered Nurse with a dedication for delivering compassionate patient care to join our team at the University Hospital of Northern BC.

The Staff Registered Nurse, Medical/Surgical practices in accordance with the Vision, Values, Ethics and Standards of the organization and of the BCCNM (British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives).

Within a patient and family centered care model and in collaboration with an interdisciplinary health care team, this position carries out general practice activities within the scope of RN practice. This role provides direct nursing care for admitted patients in order to meet the needs of the University Hospital of Northern BC and the patient/family population that we serve. The RN bases practice on current evidence from nursing science and humanities.

Shift Rotation/Hours of Work

Shift Rotation/Hours of work: Days, Nights, 07:00 to 19:00, 19:00 to 07:00 (rotating)

University Hospital Of Northern BC (UHNBC) is the largest acute care facility within the Northern Health Region, and a hub for specialized health services. It’s also a teaching hospital.
