Job summary

A regional health authority in Nova Scotia is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct nursing care to patients in the hospital or community. The ideal candidate will have registration with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives and up to two years of recent experience. This position requires strong communication, organizational skills, and the ability to meet patient needs effectively. Specialty certification may be required depending on the clinical setting.

Qualifications

  • Up to 2 years of recent, related nursing experience depending on clinical setting.
  • Certification required for specialty units as per unit requirements.
  • Ability to interpret arrhythmias for Heart Health nurse positions.

Responsibilities

  • Plans and provides direct nursing care to patients/residents.
  • Follows competency guidelines and nursing standards as per the regulatory body.
