  • Practices in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and is responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of client care

This is a Relief Full Time opportunity until July 26, 2027, or the return of the incumbent. Shifts of work will be scheduled days and nights rotating from 07:30 to 19:30, 19:30 to 07:30 hours.

About this Location

The Royal Inland Hospital NICU supports the care of sick neonates from across Interior Health. We are one of two tertiary centers outside of the lower mainland. Utilizing and influencing the latest evidence‑based care of neonates, the NICU is located in the heart of the Interior in Kamloops BC and serves a population of neonates and their families 30 weeks and over, while stabilizing other acutely ill infants and accessing BC Women’s and Children’s Hospital as the primary referral site as needed. We pride ourselves on ensuring that new staff are set up for success. Education days and unit orientation are imperative to ensure that you feel prepared to care for our diverse patient population.
