The Registered Dietitian will interact virtually with diverse patients to both promote and provide nutrition & health education. The Registered Dietitian must be passionate about patient care; delivering high quality one‑on‑one support in assisting Canadians to reach their nutrition goals.

What You Will Do:

• Interact virtually with a diverse patient population to provide education and one‑on‑one nutritional support
• Daily work to grow and maintain services to align with program goals, leveraging your skills and expertise to influence program design and educational content
• Respond to patient inquiries
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive expert nutritional and dietary support
• Strong understanding of Canada’s food guide and nutrition care processes

What You Will Need:

• Registered Dietitian designation and membership with provincial college (in good standing)
• Ability to obtain additional provincial licenses, as required
• Ability to travel, ad‑hoc
• Professional liability insurance
• Business acumen
• Social media experience and knowledge
• Experience in giving presentations and speaking to the public about health through various mediums
• Able to work with a multi‑dimensional health team, including traditional and non‑traditional medical practitioners
• Exceptional collaboration and team building skills to build relationships with store colleagues and community partners to drive programs and services
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Experience documenting assessments, care plans, and progress notes in EMR systems
• Experience working with Microsoft Suite of programs an asset
• Knowledge of health food products and supplements an asset
• Being curious, solution oriented and creative

• Collaborer avec l’équipe interdisciplinaire afin de fournir un soutien nutritionnel et diététique complet et spécialisé
• Bonne compréhension du guide alimentaire canadien et des processus de soins nutritionnels

Ce dont vous aurez besoin :

• Titre de diététicien agréé et adhésion à l’ordre professionnel provincial (en règle)
• Capacité à obtenir des licences provinciales supplémentaires, si nécessaire
• Capacité à voyager, de manière ponctuelle
• Assurance responsabilité civile professionnelle
• Sens des affaires
• Expérience et connaissances des médias sociaux
• Expérience dans la présentation et la communication au public sur des sujets liés à la santé à travers divers médias
• Capacité à travailler avec une équipe de santé multidimensionnelle, comprenant des praticiens médicaux traditionnels et non traditionnels
• Excellentes compétences en matière de collaboration et de consolidation d’équipe afin d’établir des relations avec les collègues du magasin et les partenaires communautaires pour promouvoir les programmes et les services
• Solides compétences en communication écrite et orale
• Expérience dans la documentation des évaluations, des plans de soins et des notes d’évolution dans les systèmes de dossiers médicaux électroniques
• Expérience dans l’utilisation des programmes Microsoft Suite, un atout
• Connaissance des produits alimentaires et des compléments alimentaires, un atout
• Curiosité, orientation vers les solutions et créativité
