A leading engineering service provider is seeking a Distributional Regional Engineer in Burnaby, BC. This role requires a P.Eng registered engineer with experience in electrical distribution systems up to 35kV. Candidates must have a degree in Electrical Engineering and demonstrated skills in system analysis and utilities. Opportunities to work on low to medium complexity projects, ensuring safety, quality, and compliance. This position involves some in-office work and is contract-based until late 2026.

Qualifications

• Minimum four years of experience in engineering or equivalent.
• Safety-focused and able to develop engineering solutions.
• Ability to perform independent studies and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement low to medium complexity engineering solutions.
• Support operations, maintenance, repair, and expansion of electrical distribution systems.
• Engage with senior engineering team for complex problems.

Skills

Experience with overhead and underground electric utility distribution systems

Ability to use standard industry design/analysis software

Intermediate MS Office skills

Intermediate English skills for professional environment
