Job description

Lifemark Health Group, we’re more than a healthcare provider—we’re a national movement toward better lives. With a coast-to-coast network of clinics and a deep commitment to patient-first care, we’re shaping the future of Canadian healthcare. When you join our team, you don’t just do the work—you inspire change.

About the Role

This is more than a leadership position—it’s an opportunity to elevate healthcare delivery across the country. As Regional Director of Operations, M&A you’ll lead and empower a network of clinics joining the Lifemark Network, fueling operational excellence, an inclusive culture, and team growth. Reporting to the SVP Operations, you’ll drive strategic and financial performance while ensuring every clinic reflects our values of care, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

If you are a change-maker, a connector, and a strategic thinker with the courage to lead boldly...then lets talk.

In this role, you will:
  • Build relationships: Play a critical role in early relationship building with sellers and throughout the deal process. While the Corporate Development team will lead the transaction process, you will be the face of Lifemark operations – introducing teams to key stakeholders, support talent acquisition, and identify opportunities for expansion.
  • Champion operational integration: Guiding clinic leaders through operational integration initiatives, supported by Lifemark's corporate teams and Post-Merger Integration team.
  • Drive operational excellence: Align regional plans with company goals, streamline performance, and lead change initiatives.
  • Accomplish strategic objectives: Work with national departments, provincial leadership, and clinic operational teams of newly acquired entities to ensure they meet national financial and operational targets post-integration.
  • Inspire inclusive culture: Facilitate the cultural integration of acquired teams across the country, fostering an inclusive environment that aligns with Lifemark’s values and supports talent retention.
  • Own results: Manage budgets, lead KPIs, ensure regulatory compliance, and take accountability for regional outcomes. Use data-driven insights to boost revenue and EBITDA, optimizing both patient experience and business performance.
  • Lead with purpose: Guide and develop newly acquired clinic operations teams nationally as they join the Lifemark Network, championing high-quality, consistent care across all sites and supporting their transition into steady-state operations within Lifemark.
What you bring:
  • Degree in Physiotherapy, Allied Healthcare, Business, Finance, Corporate Development, or a related field (MBA or Master’s in a relevant discipline preferred).
  • 7 to 10+ years in senior leadership roles with a significant focus on Mergers & Acquisitions, Corporate Development, or operational leadership with direct M&A integration responsibilities, ideally within the healthcare sector or related sectors.
  • Proven success in scaling operations, leading large teams, and achieving financial targets. Strong understanding of financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, and key performance indicators relevant to M&A and national business operations.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels, lead cross-functional teams, and manage complex change across a national organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate complexity and drive alignment across multi-site and diverse provincial operations, particularly in integrating new businesses on a national scale.
Why Join Lifemark?
  • Purpose-led culture – Be part of something bigger: transforming healthcare in Canada
  • Collaborative teams – Work alongside compassionate professionals committed to making a difference
  • Competitive rewards – Including health & dental benefits, vacation, and wellness days
  • Career growth – $1,500 annual education allowance and diverse leadership development programs
  • Perks – Shoppers Drug Mart employee discount, GoodLife corporate membership, and more
  • Stability – Join a strong, financially sound organization with national impact
