Responsibilities
  • Oversee loading and unloading of goods from trucks.
  • Operate hand truck or other equipment to load, unload, transport, and store goods.
  • Unpack, and route goods to appropriate storage areas.
  • Inspect and verify incoming goods against packing slips and drawings where it permits. Note any box or quantity shortages and/or damaged goods.
  • Oversee incoming intercompany material, and order fulfillment.
  • Maintain manual or computerized record-keeping systems.
  • Assist with inventory counts.
  • Other duties as required.
Position Requirements
  • Excellent communication/people skills - both on the phone and in person when required.
  • The ability to lift to 50lbs regularly.
  • Forklift operator or lift truck experience is an asset.
  • The ability to work as a team.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Grade 12.
Computer Skills
  • Microsoft Office – Excel, Word, Outlook, Sharepoint
  • Basic computer skills
