Job description
Overview

Performs diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic examinations. Functions as the first line interface with customers and is successful in the accomplishment of their imaging needs and participates in PI CQI activities. Performs bone densitometry, aids in callback coverage when necessary. Responsible for the independent operation of x-ray equipment, and for performing and communicating results of diagnostic examinations. To include but not limited to; equipment maintenance, the report of equipment failures, and quality assessment (QA). The x-ray tech maintains a high standard of medical ethics at all times and is self-motivated to increase level of understanding and knowledge of the field, disease, and new procedures as they evolve. Exhibits excellent customer service skills for our patients and physician referral base.

  • Perform bone densitometry and assist with callback coverage when necessary.

  • Contribute to equipment maintenance, report equipment failures, and participate in quality assessment (QA).
  • Maintain high standards of medical ethics; seek ongoing knowledge of the field, diseases, and procedures.
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients and physician referrals.
