Delivers consulting project activities, as a subject matter expert in radiation therapy, through medium- to long-term engagements to ensure maximum utilization of company products and training by customers to meet their business needs.

  • Ability to assess baseline workflows and develop future state workflows through implementation of Varian solutions; understand patient-to-care-team relationships and standardized guidelines across multiple disease modalities.

  • Clinical experience in Oncology (Hospital or Free-standing) as a Radiation Therapist, Dosimetrist, Physicist, Oncology Nurse or similar licensed position

  • Strong organizational and analytical skills; proven collaboration and consensus-building

Required Criteria
  • BS / BA in related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience; demonstrated leadership in clinical operations and strategic / business planning
  • RT, RTT or CMD with at least 3 years of direct patient care experience; management and aptitude of standardized guidelines preferred
  • 5+ years combined experience in Oncology settings and healthcare technology vendors
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills with a collaborative approach
  • Completes Varian training plan specific to assigned responsibility
Travel
  • Ability to travel up to 75%
Vendor Credentialing
  • Meets all Vendor Credentialing requirements to gain client site access; requirements vary by client and may include background checks, immunizations, and healthcare trainings
Responsibilities
  • Assist customers in developing best practice clinical operations with emphasis on patient outcomes, care efficiencies, cost containment, and value propositions
  • Evaluate business processes, recommend changes, document processes, identify training needs, and support solution deployment
  • Contribute to creation and development of consultative services
  • Develop metrics demonstrating clinical, operational, and financial value
  • Support product training and implementation through eLearning, onsite and remote training, and follow-up for adoption
  • Serve as clinical resource for content curation, product configuration, testing, and workflow within the Varian project team
  • Map current state to future state workflow with gap analysis
  • Lead detailed requirements gathering and translate workflow requirements to technical tasks with the implementation team
  • Develop customer-specific user adoption strategies and best practices
  • Provide onsite Go-Live support and post-Go-Live support
Additional Context
  • On Oncology Systems business only : full access to VMS client sites; meet Vendor Credentialing requirements to access client sites
  • Represent Varian professionally; build client relationships and ensure client satisfaction

Compensation

The base pay range is CAD 79,500 – 130,000 annually, with a target incentive of 10% of base pay. The annual base pay range is CAD 79,500 – 147,600 depending on experience. Benefits include health and wellness programs, PTO, and holidays. See local pay transparency disclosures where applicable.
