CGI is seeking an experienced Senior Consultant Quality Engineering Program Manager to lead a large-scale, enterprise-class Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Engineering (QE) program supporting our valued client. This is an exciting opportunity to bring strategic vision and operational excellence to one of the most dynamic retail technology environments in the industry.

As a Quality Manager at CGI, you will provide thought leadership and hands‑on guidance to a large distributed team of quality professionals, driving transformation from Quality Control (QC) to Quality Assurance (QA) to Quality Engineering (QE) and ultimately Quality Intelligence (QI). You'll help shape a modern, automation‑first approach that enables faster delivery, improved quality, and measurable business value.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a large QA/QE organization across multiple workstreams and technology domains and geographies.
  • Define and execute a scalable, data‑driven quality strategy aligned with the client's data first transformation goals.
  • Champion continuous improvement by identifying and eliminating the root cause of defects, focusing on reducing defect leakage and increasing early defect detection.
  • Build and mature test automation frameworks and CI/CD integration to accelerate delivery pipelines across your teams.
  • Partner with client stakeholders, delivery leads, and CGI leadership to drive metrics‑based quality governance and reporting.
  • Enable the shift to intelligent automation and predictive analytics, fostering a culture of Quality Intelligence (QI).
  • Mentor and develop quality leaders within the team, ensuring capability growth and consistent delivery excellence.
Qualifications
  • 10–15 years of experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Engineering, or Quality Improvement, with at least 5 years in leadership roles managing large, distributed teams (35–50+ members).
  • Proven experience establishing enterprise QA/QE programs that integrate automation, DevOps, and continuous testing practices.
  • Strong understanding of test strategy, defect prevention, and quality metrics management.
  • Demonstrated success driving measurable reductions in production defects and accelerating time‑to‑market.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and transformation leadership skills.
  • Experience with retail, eCommerce, or enterprise platforms preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master's degree an asset).

Pay Range

CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors including but not limited to skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $85,000 - $160,000.
