Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a QC/Data Analyst to join a high‑impact Data Integrity team supporting a drilling technology product line. In this role, the Data Analyst will be responsible for performing daily well‑level data vetting, validating operational timelines and activity classifications, reviewing incoming EDR data for completeness and accuracy, identifying and correcting anomalies in drilling parameters and activity breakdowns, and resolving issues such as data gaps, duplicates, timestamp misalignments, or misclassifications. The position will also investigate discrepancies and unusual trends to determine root causes, perform ad‑hoc SQL‑based analyses and reporting, collaborate with engineering and data teams to troubleshoot data issues or test new features, and contribute to continuous‑improvement efforts related to data pipelines, automation, and reporting dashboards. This role is essential in ensuring the accuracy, reliability, and consistency of drilling‑related data that powers operational decision‑making and performance KPIs across the drilling lifecycle. This is a 1 year contract, with the high possibility of extension. Office is based out of Calgary but this is a fully remote position across Canada.
