Our client is looking for a QA developer for a hybrid contract to support a new mobile/web app page rollout for a major Canadian bank. You’ll plan test strategy and execute manual + automated testing across UI, API, and responsive layers, ensuring accessibility and quality for a fast-moving product build.

Project Background

• New concept for the bank’s mobile app is ready for implementation.
• You’ll help plan the implementation and validate features/functionality that will live on the new mobile/web app page.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute test strategies, test plans, and test cases (manual & automated).
• Perform API testing, web responsive testing, regression, and accessibility checks (WCAG).
• Create automation scripts; integrate with CI workflows; log/track defects and drive resolution.
• Partner with product, design, and engineering in an Agile/Scrum environment; report test outcomes.

Required Qualifications (4–5+ years)

• Hands-on manual & automation testing (UI + API).
• Web responsiveness testing; solid test strategy creation and execution.
• Accessibility (WCAG) testing exposure.
• Familiar with GitHub Copilot or similar AI coding tools.
• Comfortable across the SDLC (design ? planning ? execution).
