Job summary

Responsibilities

• Test Strategy & Planning:
  • Define and implement comprehensive testing strategies for capital markets applications, including functional, regression, integration, performance, and UAT.
  • Collaborate with development, business analysts, and product owners to ensure test coverage aligns with business requirements and regulatory standards.
• Team Leadership:
  • Lead and mentor a team of QA analysts, test engineers, and automation specialists onshore/offshore.
  • Drive performance and accountability through clear KPIs and objectives.
• Test Execution & Reporting:
  • Oversee test case creation, execution, and defect management using industry-standard tools (e.g., JIRA, HP ALM, qTest).
  • Provide test metrics, status reports, and risk assessments to senior stakeholders.
  • Ensure traceability between test cases and business/technical requirements.
• Automation Tools:
  • Guide implementation and maintenance of automated test frameworks for capital markets systems.
  • Evaluate and integrate testing tools suitable for complex financial applications.
• Regulatory Compliance Testing:
  • Ensure QA processes support MiFID II, Dodd-Frank, EMIR, or other relevant regulatory compliance efforts.
  • Manage audits and documentation as part of regulatory review processes.
