Pursuit Collection 6 Km North On Pyramid Lake Rd, Jasper, AB

Pay: $19 an hour

Job type: Full-time

Shift and schedule: Night shift

Location: 6 Km North On Pyramid Lake Rd, Jasper, AB

Responsibilities
  • Assisting with the safety and comfort of our guests over the night-time hours.
  • In addition to working as a night auditor, you will also work some front desk shifts during the day.
  • Process telephone calls.
  • Process group arrivals and departures.
  • Register arriving guests and assign rooms.
  • Process guests’ departures, calculate charges and receive payment.
  • Take, cancel, and change room reservations.
  • Resolve guest complaints and refer to Supervisor as required.
  • Contact night security and on-call maintenance to report unusual occurrences; provide follow up report to Hotel Manager.
  • Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports and related forms.
  • Provide information on hotel facilities and services, and local points of interest.
  • Arrange services required for guests with special needs.
  • Learn the Emergency Response Manual thoroughly.
  • Perform related Front Desk duties as directed by Supervisor.
Qualifications
  • All the personality traits of a top-notch Front Desk Agent.
  • Basic accounting skills and a self-starter.
  • Minimum grade 12 education or equivalent.
  • Basic knowledge of accounting and computers an asset (will train).
  • Experience as Front Desk Agent an asset.
  • Ability to accept direction and work with minimal supervision.
  • Customer Service oriented.
  • Able to work evenings and nights.
  • Ability to work within a team.
