A legal services organization in Thunder Bay, ON, is seeking a Public Legal Education & Communications Coordinator. The role involves delivering public legal education through workshops and presentations, assisting with administrative tasks, and engaging with various communities. Qualified candidates should have a relevant degree, excellent communication skills, and experience working with Indigenous communities. The Public Legal Education and Communications Coordinator (PLECO) is responsible for delivering on NALSC’s mandate to offer PLE to NAN communities through workshops and presentations, community visits, career fairs, clinic days, promotions and booth displays, newsletters and website information, and radio shows. The PLECO works under the Director of Legal Services and Legal Aid Administrator and all aspects and programs of NALSC. The PLECO will also assist the Director of Legal Services, Legal Aid Administrator and NALSC with administrative duties including procurement, research, record-keeping and more.

Hours: Full Time (35 Hours Per Week)
Salary: $61,479 Annually
