This is a permanent, full-time opportunity with a progressive employer known for its 4-day work week policy, outstanding leadership, and diverse project portfolio spanning the private, public, and industrial sectors.

Position Overview

This individual will take a senior leadership role within the Environmental team, managing complex site assessment and remediation projects while providing mentorship and technical guidance to junior and intermediate staff. Key project responsibilities include Phase I & II ESAs, Excess Soil Management, and Record of Site Condition (RSC) filings, in line with O.Reg. 153 / 04 and O.Reg. 406 / 19.

You’ll also collaborate closely with senior management, contributing to team development, technical reviews, and overall project delivery success.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Phase I / II ESA, RSC, and soil remediation projects
• Supervise and mentor a multidisciplinary environmental team
• Conduct senior technical reviews and regulatory submissions
• Oversee scope, scheduling, budgeting, and client communication
• Support employee development and knowledge transfer
• Actively participate in client management and business development

Candidate Requirements

• P.Eng. or P.Geo. in Ontario
• Minimum of 10 years of applied experience in environmental consulting
• In-depth knowledge of Ontario environmental regulations and best practices
• Strong communication, leadership, and technical report-writing skills
• Experience managing teams, budgets, and multi-phase projects
