As a Project Manager, Implementation, you will lead projects within and across our businesses by combining analytical and management skills to ensure their completion - on time, within scope, and within budget.

Every day, you will partner with clients to learn and understand their business needs; analyze existing systems, interface requirements, and business processes; and guide and drive clients towards the best solution for their unique business needs.

Responsibilities

What you can expect on a typical day:

  • Manage projects. You’ll manage project delivery and execution for large, complex client implementations from initial project identification to hand-off to the Client Service Delivery team. You will be accountable for planning, managing, leading, and motivating a cross-functional team to implement projects in support of ADP Sales.
  • Serve as the Subject Matter Expert. You’ll lead and manage comprehensive project plans and identify risks and issues. You will manage resources utilizing the Implementation PMO standard PM best practices and methodology.
  • Partner internally. You’ll communicate with project stakeholders including the ADP leadership team and client project teams and will transfer your PM knowledge/skills to other members of the Implementation team.
  • Build and maintain relationships. You\'ll manage strong, healthy relationships with stakeholders, project teams, and external vendors ensuring that project delivery expectations are clearly defined and met. You will build and maintain a referenceable customer relationship.
  • You’ll assist in the continuous evolution of the PMO best practices and coach/mentor members of the Implementation team.
  • You’ll develop and maintain all project documentation (Project Plan, Issue and Action Logs, Risk Management, Project Status Report, Lessons Learned, Post Implementation Reviews, etc.)
Qualifications

TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE: Required Qualifications

  • PMP certification is required.
  • 5-8 years of demonstrated project management experience with proven knowledge of project management methodologies and project management tools.
  • University graduate, or equivalent work experience.
  • Familiar with all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Strong influencing skills, interpersonal skills, and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated and proven leadership skills, excellent decision making, and problem-solving skills.

Bonus Points for these: Preferred Qualifications

Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC) or Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification is a plus.
