Job description

r Network has partnered with an industry leading organization to help them find their next Project Manager.

We're looking for a driven and detail-oriented individual to lead aluminum composite material (ACM) building cladding projects from start to finish. If you thrive in fast-paced environments and enjoy bringing teams together to deliver great results, this might be the role for you.

Overview

In this role, you’ll be the connector between the sales, engineering, and production teams—making sure projects stay on track, customers are happy, and quality remains top-notch. From the moment a project is awarded to the final installation, you’ll be the steady hand guiding it all the way through.

What You\'ll Do
  • Support and contribute to the company’s growth and evolution by promoting best practices and positive change.
  • Keep projects moving by staying on top of timelines, tracking information, and ensuring nothing falls through the cracks.
  • Work closely with Client and Account Managers to make sure we consistently meet (and exceed) customer expectations.
  • Resolve issues quickly and effectively—always putting customer satisfaction and progress first.
  • Share accurate, timely updates with our internal teams to help with scheduling and production planning.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate project records to support reporting and contractual commitments.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to refine workflows, ensuring projects meet client expectations and stay on budget.
  • Manage every phase of the project—scope, timeline, budget, quality, risk, and communication.
  • Coordinate across multiple departments, from engineering and permitting to fabrication and installation.
  • Serve as the go-to contact for clients, contractors, and site teams, keeping communication clear and consistent.
  • Develop and manage detailed project plans and installation schedules that align with real-world site conditions.
  • Secure necessary approvals from stakeholders such as landlords, consultants, and franchise partners.
  • Monitor costs and keep a close eye on non-recurring expenses like design and engineering work.
  • Conduct site visits (or virtual inspections) to ensure the project aligns with design and site conditions. Travel will be required in this role, primarily across Ontario and Quebec.
  • Promote a culture of safety, ensuring full compliance with health, employment, and site regulations.
  • Jump in where needed to support the broader team and company goals.
What You Bring
  • Strong communication skills—confident speaking with clients, trades, and internal teams alike.
  • A keen eye for detail and a high level of accuracy in your work.
  • The ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines with energy and resilience.
  • A collaborative, solutions-focused mindset and natural leadership abilities.
  • Confidence working with diverse teams, including contractors and installers.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), MS Project, and ERP systems (Epicor or similar).
  • Bilingual (English/French) is a plus.
  • A background in construction, architecture, or fabrication is preferred.
  • A diploma or degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or a related field—or equivalent experience.
  • PMP certification (or similar) is an asset.
  • 3–5 years of project management experience, ideally in ACM panels, building cladding, or commercial construction.
  • Compensation varies pending on experience, with a minimum starting salary of $85K and is based out of Cambridge, Ontario.
