The Opportunity

The Project Manager 1 is responsible for managing assigned Change Requests (CRs) and low to medium complexity projects, both IT and non-IT, for COR.IQ. These may be internal or client-facing. You’ll oversee multiple CRs and projects simultaneously, ensuring scope, budget, timelines, and resources stay aligned with approved plans. You’ll document and escalate variances, propose corrective actions, and work with teams to identify and manage risks and issues, escalating unresolved items to senior leadership. You’ll also lead the change request estimation process to ensure responses are delivered within SLA.

This is a hybrid role with flexible onsite expectations, typically 1 to 2 days per week. New employees are expected to be onsite 2 to 3 times a week during their first three months to support onboarding and collaboration.

What You Need to Succeed

Education :

  • College diploma or undergraduate university degree in a related discipline or a combination of experience, education and / or training deemed to be equivalent.
  • PMP or working towards PMP certification

Experience :

  • Minimum of 3 years of Project Management experience following a structured project management methodology.

Skill requirements :

  • Working knowledge of PMI’s project management approach and completion of an introductory course.
  • Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Strong communication skills across all levels of the organization, including client-facing interactions.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Confluence).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively and influence without authority.
