The Project HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) Manager is expected to partner with project teams to support the consistent application of the Clark Builder’s HSE Management System, regulatory requirements, and project-specific safety expectations across the project site. They will actively contribute to the enhancement of the company’s HSE programs, promote a strong safety culture through the delivery of effective training, and provide guidance on the management of environmental documentation, hazardous materials reports, and site conditions. This role requires strong communication and leadership skills to influence safe work practices, educate field personnel, and support operational teams in building safe, compliant work environments.
This role reports directly to the Regional HSE Manager, with functional oversight provided by the Project Senior Superintendent.

The employee frequently views a computer monitor and frequently uses a computer keyboard. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. The employee is regularly required to be mobile, and the employee occasionally travels both short and long distances via a variety of conveyances. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 15 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
The work environment described here reflects conditions encountered on the Red Deer Hospital Project. Employees regularly work on an active healthcare construction site with exposure to moving equipment, elevated work areas, airborne particles, weather conditions, and typical construction-related hazards. Noise levels range from moderate to loud depending on site activities. At times, duties may be performed in office or administrative settings where noise levels are quiet to moderate. Work must be carried out in full compliance with company safety policies, hospital operational requirements, and all applicable regulations.
