Job Title: Junior - Intermediate Project Coordinator
Location: Travel within the NCR

Salary – $58,000 - $60,000

Benefits – Health/Dental/RRSP

Hours – Monday – Friday – 8-4:30

About the Company:

A well-established construction firm serving government, commercial, and industrial markets is seeking a Project Coordinator to join its growing team. Known for delivering complex builds with innovative solutions, the company uses in-house trades to complete a wide range of specialized projects, including high-security environments, community centres, bridge replacements, pumping stations, and office fit-ups—both locally and internationally.

Position Summary:

The Project Coordinator will provide essential support in organizing and executing construction projects from pre-construction through to closeout. Working closely with Project Managers and Site Supervisors, this role is ideal for someone detail-oriented, collaborative, and eager to build a career in construction project management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with project planning, scheduling, and document control.
  • Support procurement activities, including tracking materials and coordinating deliveries.
  • Maintain project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, change orders, meeting minutes, and progress reports.
  • Coordinate communication between internal trades, subcontractors, and consultants.
  • Attend site meetings and conduct site visits to support project execution.
  • Monitor timelines and budgets and report any issues or delays to senior staff.
  • Provide administrative and logistical support to ensure projects run smoothly.
Qualifications:
  • Post-secondary education in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • 1–2 years of experience in a construction or project coordination role is an asset.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with project management tools (e.g., Procore, MS Project) is an asset.
  • Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.
