Our client, a well‑established civil construction firm with a strong reputation for delivering complex infrastructure and deep excavation projects, is seeking a Project Coordinator to join their team in Surrey, BC. Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the project team with day-to‑day coordination of civil construction projects.
  • Help prepare project documentation including RFIs, submittals, meeting minutes, and daily reports.
  • Track materials, equipment, and subcontractor progress.
  • Support scheduling updates, quantity tracking, and cost control tasks.
  • Participate in site visits, safety meetings, and progress reviews.
  • Assist in maintaining organized project files and documentation in the company's project management platform.
  • Communicate with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams to support smooth project execution.
Ideal Candidate Requirements
  • 1 to 2 years of experience in the construction industry; relevant co‑op terms will be considered if full‑time experience is limited.
  • Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering Technology, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in civil construction, infrastructure, and field operations.
  • Familiarity with construction drawings, specifications, and basic project processes.
  • Proficiency in MS Office; experience with project management software is an asset.
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills.
  • A proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
