A leading global health organization in Ottawa is seeking a Program Officer for Institutional Support Grant & Optimization. This full-time maternity leave contract offers hybrid working conditions. Know our team
Nutrition International’s Programs Unit ensures the efficient and effective delivery of core program interventions, including program development, design, planning, implementation, monitoring and reporting, and grant management. The unit includes a global team across Asia, Africa and Ottawa. We are seeking applications for a Program Officer, Institutional Support Grant & Optimization based in Ottawa, Canada, working hybrid with 2 days/week in-office. This is a maternity leave contract starting ASAP until April 2027.
About you
You have a bachelor’s degree in nutrition, public health, international development, or a related field. You have 3–5 years of relevant NGO and/or UN experience in public health, food security, and nutrition-related programming. You have demonstrated experience with donor contract management and report development. You are able to work in a multicultural, global team and are proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint with strong written and verbal communications, including technical writing and presentation skills. Fluency in English is required; French is an asset.

Travel: This position will require infrequent travel upon request to countries in Asia and Africa.
