Role Description

We are hiring a full time, on site Program Manager in Victoria, BC. This role brings structure, foresight, and alignment to how we plan and deliver projects. It is a new and important position that connects technical delivery, project management, and operations.

You will work across several small teams to ensure budgets, schedules, and resources stay aligned with our commitments. You will track progress, surface issues early, and give leadership clear and actionable insight.

You will also refine processes, standardize tools, and strengthen visibility across teams so the firm can keep delivering excellent work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead planning and coordination across multiple active projects and service areas
  • Support project leads in developing and maintaining schedules, budgets, and forecasts
  • Track and report on firm level indicators including gross margin, utilization, and project health
  • Identify emerging risks or bottlenecks and coordinate resolution
  • Maintain and improve reporting systems and templates
  • Coordinate new project intake and help balance workload across teams
  • Advance continuous improvement in project delivery systems including workflow design and BQE usage
  • Support adherence to Coast’s quality, safety, and professional standards
Qualifications
  • Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
  • Five or more years managing complex projects or programs in engineering, construction, or professional services
  • Strong understanding of project management, budget control, and risk management
  • Skilled at translating data and details into clear, useful insight
  • Strong communicator
  • Experience with BQE Core or similar project management software is an asset
  • PMP or equivalent certification is preferred but not required

Compensation

The expected pay range is CAD 95,000 to 135,000. Placement within the range depends on skills, experience, education, and related expertise. The upper end is reserved for candidates with exceptional or directly transferable experience.
